Accessibility Statement

Poultry Pro Farm Supplies Inc. is committed to making poultrysupplies.ca usable by as many people as possible, and to serving every customer in an accessible way — in the spirit of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Last updated: 4 August 2026

We believe restocking a farm shouldn’t be harder than it needs to be for anyone placing an order. That belief extends to our website and to the way we serve customers by phone, email and delivery.

Our commitment

Poultry Pro is committed to providing a website and ordering experience that respect the dignity and independence of customers and business contacts with disabilities. We aim to give every customer the same opportunity to request a quote, order, and track a delivery, in a similar way, as everyone else. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task, and we review it as the site and our services change.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the internationally recognised standard referenced by Ontario’s accessibility regulations. WCAG explains how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

What we’ve done so far

Accessibility considerations built into this website include:

  • Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and clearly labelled navigation and page regions.
  • A “Skip to content” link so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass the header.
  • Full keyboard operability, with a clearly visible focus outline on links, buttons and form fields.
  • Text and interface colours chosen to provide strong contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images and diagrams, and decorative images marked so assistive technology can ignore them.
  • Form fields with associated labels, and status messages announced to assistive technology.
  • A responsive layout that reflows for small screens and supports text resizing and zoom without loss of content.
  • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting, so animations are minimised for people who prefer that.
  • Content that does not rely on colour alone to convey meaning.

Accessible ordering & delivery

Our commitment is not limited to the website. If you or someone placing an order has an accessibility need — a quote or invoice in an alternative format, help completing an order over the phone, or a delivery accommodation — let us know when you contact us so we can make reasonable arrangements.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware that accessibility is a moving target and that issues can arise as content is added or as assistive technologies evolve. If you find a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us — your feedback helps us prioritise fixes.

Feedback — we want to hear from you

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of poultrysupplies.ca and of our ordering and delivery process. If you encounter a barrier, need information in an alternative format, or have a suggestion, please contact us and tell us the page or task involved:

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and to respond in a way, and within a timeframe, that takes your needs into account. Feedback is reviewed by our owner, Waqas Ahmed Khan.
